Now I Get It?

So I've decided that the dating pool for myself is found in basketball refs. I state this as a fact because I have now had the enjoyment of meeting TWO, this year, (that's alot!) nice looking, pretty nice guys, when they ref my basketball games! I haven't however figured out how such a thing could ever work logistically...and usually I could care less about logic. But in teacher/responsible mode it sometimes enters my mind. I can't just leave the children I have to return to Emmaus waiting on the bench or in the van while I flirt a little more, and I'm pretty sure that while I'm coaching basketball I'm the least attractive...next to first thing in the morning! I jump off the bench, I yell, I throw my hands in the air and say things like "Come on!' or "SHOOOT! SHOOOOT! SHOOOT!" or "That's okay" when it's really not. Last night one of my kids had a pretty decent play, but the whistle blew. I told him it was okay. I thought he was going to be called for traveling when he was actually given a foul. It's not okay to foul! I only had 6 varsity boys last night so I had 3 JV boys suit up also. Well my best varsity boy fouls out in the beginning of the third quarter, my JV boys can only play 6 quarters a night and we still have half a game left! So the nice looking ref comes over and says to me "Sarah, what's the problem?" as I delay the game. I respond quickly with "You called fouls on all my players so now I'm out of them!" He laughs which frustrates me more! Needless to say we lost (to Bethlehem) though not by much, and I am beginning to see along with my fear of commitment why I am in the state I am in.....This weekend I'll be getting fitted for my habit and moving into the convent. :P
