I began this blog in 2006 because "Everyone was doing it". It seemed like a good way to keep my family in Nebraska updated and informed on what was happening in my life in Colorado!
In 2008, just when I thought it was time to move on and out of Denver, I met my husband. As we dated and continued to grow closer, I decided to change my plans to move to NYC and stay in Denver. In 2009 he proposed, and we were married in 2010. Our wedding day was one of the best days of my life!
I'm a former Lutheran School principal and teacher. I taught grades 5-8 for 13 years! I resigned my position to embrace my favorite job--being a mommy! In 2015 we were blessed with our first child and in 2017 baby #2 will be joining us!
