Orlando, Day 2

I got another TWO roommates, at 2am! They arrived and were very loud, having only slept a few hours the night/day before this didn't make me very happy.

At training this morning I came to the realization that I didn't know ANYONE there. This is quite unusual. I think this is the result of everyone my age would would be here is with a youth group. I gotta find a youth group for next time. :) Or maybe be a CBL, which is for the older young adults...I guess I'm old.

We had training until noon, some are going back for training this afternoon, I do not have to go back until tomorrow at 8am...that's early. Tomorrow night the gathering begins. I am an usher for the mass events. I'm not entirely sure what that will envolve, but it will mean that I get to see the mass events, and for that I am very excited!

After training I felt it was necessary to read HP7. Unfortunately, I fell asleep during this adventure. So, after a two hour nap I met up with my roommates, Chrissy, and two other girls for dinner at TGIFridays. Having just been there on Monday, I knew exactly what I wanted. :)

After dinner we went to a worship service for all the workers. There is a big worship service on Tuesday for the youth, but most of us workers will be ...working...so we had our own tonight. The pastor spoke about the boy whom Christ used to feed the masses with just some fish and bread. He tied this into being CHOSEN to serve. It was a fantastic service. I saw a few people from college at the serice. I look forward to tomorrow when I can see ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE!
