A few weeks ago I went up Lookout Mountain and took some pictures. Fall is such a nice time of year. Everything is so pretty! Nevermind the fact that once all the pretty goes away everything looks slightly dead. :)
This weekend A-Basin and Loveland opened up one run each. Ski season is quickly approaching. This was further seen when I went to Wal-Mart to pick up some cleaning supplies and saw that they are getting the Christmas stuff out! I love Christmas! If I had it my way, I'd fast forward through Halloween and head right to Thanksgiving and Christmas! By doing so I'd also sucessfully skip the next two weekends of things I'm not looking forward to!
Next Saturday I have to go bowling. Not a bad thing except I have to go on a Saturday in the middle of the day to bowl with students! I thought I had sucessfully got out of this horrible ordeal until last Thursday. Then it became obviously clear that I was not going to get out of it. I wouldn't mind doing so on a week night or even a Sunday afternoon, but Saturday is seriously my only day when I don't have to do school work! I don't want to go!
The next weekend we're having a school carnival put on by our version of PTL--P.I.E. Well since they are putting it on one would think the teachers are free from doing anything. I got all the parents in my classroom to volunteer and then got cornered last week and asked "What will you be doing to help?" Excuse me?! Crap, I don't want to do anything!
Hmm...enough complaining, I'm off to bed!
