So Thursday Anne came into town for a long weekend. Because good hairstylists are hard to find we both had appointments with our gay man, Jarred on Friday. Well I had decided on Tuesday that I would like some color in my hair as well as a haircut. I was thinking a little more red, maybe a darker brown--just a few lowlights. So I sit in his chair and he starts putting color in my hair. After the whole back left section of my hair is foil I ask "Are you keeping any of my natural color?" He gets a worried look on his face and says "No, was I supposed to?" Ooops, guess I didn't communicate that well. So I got all over color that is not what I expected, but I love it. Too bad it costs so much and takes so long...4 hours at the salon! He was however able to get it uber straight! I have never seen my hair so straight!!
We go back to school next Wednesday, I couldn't be more excited...(that may have a hint of sarcasm in it.) I know that once we are back in school it will alll be good, but I really liked my summer vacation! I still firmlly believe that there should be six more weeks of summer, you know, like that Phil guy decided if there is six more weeks of winter? I think we need a school version of Groundhog Day. If the teachers see their shadows--six more weeks of summer! Oh look--my shadow!!!
