Well, today was the day. The first day of school. I am happy to report that I have the largest class with 12 students!!! Woot! And on the first day, only one was tardy. What a way to start out the school year.
Our day went really well. Slowly I told the fifth graders how they have "graduated" from elementary school and arrived into middle school. With that being said there seem to be confusion as to what this meant for them. So I did what I had to do...I gave them homework and informed them there would be a quiz tomorrow! Muahhahahahaha!
We dismissed at noon and since I had been at school since 630 (a record for me), I didn't have alot to do so no reason to stay around...so I thought. When I tried to leave at 130 I got the 'what for' from everyone! Tomorrow I may not be such a morning person. THEN I will stay later! HaHa!
Well, I'm going to work on some of my religion stuff for the weeks to come. Happy First Day of School!
