Ah, June 2nd. Now we are in the summer months! Yippy! Today I spent the day at church for the annual church clean-up. The youth group was in charge of cleaning up trash on the playground, and then working on what has been affectionately called the "Ark". The "Ark" will now be the youth house. We did alot of work in there and are finally ready to move over there officially. It's pretty exciting.
I keep thinking that I have three months and need to find things to occupy those three months, then I look at my calendar and realize that I already have things set up to occupy them! Here's what's going down:
June 13--The longest wedding trip begins. I get to go hang out with Hannie in OKC for a few days. While there we will be "saddling up our horses" with the VBS crew. From OKC we will head to KC for Bpalooza (Mike and B's wedding). After the wedding I will stay a few days in KC to hang with the Coopers. (Kind of like the old TV show...Hangin' with Mr. Cooper... ) :) I'm pretty excited for this, as I have not seen them since they tied the knot last July.
While back in Denver for the rest of June I will be with the youth group at Elitch's and helping to clean out the 'dungeon' at school.
July 6-7-8-9--One of these days I'll be heading to Nebraska. We're celebrating my grandparents 50th Anniversary on July 8th, so I know I'll be there for that. When I go, and how long I stay has yet to be decided. I am contemplating staying the whole week and going to the Madison County Fair. We'll see how that fairs.
July 25--Flying to Orlando to the National Youth Gathering. Christina and I will be volunteering at the Gathering. August 1st is the end of the Gathering. Rosie and HOPEFULLY Kayla will be flying down to Orlando on the first and we will spend a few extra days in Florida being lazy.
August 15-16--Report day for teachers! AHHHHHHHHH!
In 10-12 weeks I will be able to legally leave the country. YAY! On Thursday I visited the local USPS and applied for my passport.
Well, I'm done for tonight. Happy Hannah? :)
